Job Description:
A highly driven team building a curated Food Delivery platform in Africa is seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer with strong experience in Laravel to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing the server side of their web applications. You will work closely with their front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions to help revolutionize food delivery in Africa.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Laravel and PHP
- Proven experience in developing web applications using Laravel
- Strong understanding of web development principles and experience with back-end development
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB or other databases
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
- Experience with Git and version control
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with RESTful web services and API development
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- A portfolio of previous web development work is highly desired
